Nathan Boldt

Reverend Nathan Boldt first came to Northgate in June of 2017 to work as a Pastoral Intern. Currently, Nathan serves Northgate as Associate Pastor. Nathan preaches regularly and also leads the Northgate Music Team, writes and plans the weekly service and liturgy, networks with local church leaders and ministries, leads the Young Adult Ministry (YAM), and teaches the weekly HomeGroup Bible Study and Sunday School. He also volunteers weekly at The Anchorage; a local drug and alcohol rehab program for men.

Nathan has a degree in International Business from Birmingham-Southern College (2015), and a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta (2024).

Nathan is happily married to his wife of six years, Sara Boldt. Together they have two children – Jonathan Elias Boldt, and Ezra James Boldt. In his free time, Nathan enjoys writing and playing music (especially a good ‘ole bluegrass jam session), reading historical fiction, studying theology, cooking, lifting weights, hiking the outdoors, and playing tennis & soccer.

Nathan is deeply committed to the vision of Northgate; to see the greater community of Albany transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the faithful proclamation of God’s Word. He looks forward to serving Northgate for as many years as God has ordained!
